In general, customers do a design for a variety of reasons. Sometimes in order to launch a brand new product, sometimes in order to update the original product and improve its products, regardless of the design motivation, it is necessary to fully understand the needs of consumers, which requires the design team of this project to have a certain understanding of the market.
For example, if a customer launches a new product, it is necessary to study its target market and how to formulate corresponding design plans for target consumers; if a new product is updated, what advantages of its original brand packaging need to be inherited; if the product is redesigned, it is for the development of new products. The market is still in order to reverse the declining sales situation, how about the sales of similar products, what are their advantages and disadvantages, and what are the strengths and weaknesses of the existing design that need to be used for reference. In a word, the more fully we know about the customer's situation, the more accurately we orientate our practice, the better the final design effect will be.
